Tipi Village

We stayed two nights at Tipi Village is in Monument Vaalley, Utah. It is on the Navajo Nation land. The village was surrounded be massive sandstone buttes, mesas and enorormous monument.  The topography and views were breathtaking.

This tribe did not traditionally live in Tipis.  They built mud houses called Hogans.there were one room structures that had support poles and 12 layers of mud. The owner of Tipi Village is Aaron.  He is a Navajo.  His vision was to create a unique travel experience that provide a taste of the Navajo culture.
